Full Position Salary Range: $29.26/hour - $37.07/hour
Starting Pay: Although our full pay range is included above, the budgeted hiring range for new hires is $29.26/hour - $33.17/hour

Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.
Snapshot: Assists the Health Center Manager (HCM) in supervising the daily functions of the health center. Partners with the site manager to make operational decisions for the health center. Acts as a supervisor to staff when delegated by the HCM and is an advocate for patients. Supports the operational oversight of the nearby health centers within the Pod. This position is hourly, non-exempt.

Primary Areas of Responsibility/Essential Functions:
- Supports the Health Center Manager and surrounding sites within the Pod with operational oversight and tasks as needed.
- Steps in to assist or manage instances of behavior escalation, suspicious encounters, and reportable abuse.
- Identifies events that require incident reports and completes those reports when indicated.
- Proactively takes initiative to solve problems
- Performs all applicable responsibilities of the HCA within the health center pod. This could include but is not limited to caring for patients by working the front desk, in the lab, billing verification, back office, and opening/closing duties.
- Monitors health center flow through patient-centered care strategies that ensure quality patient care, timely appointments, minimized distractions, efficient processes, and engaged staff.
- Monitors health center metrics by accessing the marketplace dashboard to analyze the health center’s overall performance.
- Support the HCM in Leading the team towards the improvement of the health center performance based on the manager’s insight and direction of the Key Performance Indicator goals.
- Partners with the Health Center Manager to ensure operational and regulatory compliance is always maintained by confirming staff are up to date on proper protocols, conducting audits, identifying any area of non-compliance, and taking corrective action.
- Recognizes when operational compliance is at risk and notifies center manager with suggestions to maintain proper compliance.
- Conducts monthly inventory counts and submits on time to accounting.
- Ensures supply stocks are always maintained according to policy and procedure to avoid unnecessary service interruptions.
- Supports HCA training program as directed by Learning & Development (L&D) and Health Center Manager.
- Acts as an ambassador of house-wide initiatives, goals, and policies.
- Participates in abortion services including, but not limited to coordinating referrals, scheduling visits, providing education & counseling, and contributing to care.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:
- Directly supervises CMA’s, PMA’s and HCA’s when delegated by the Health Center Manager.
- Assists the Health Center Manager with facilitating staff meetings.
- Orients any staff traveling to the health center and assists in the supervision of all health center staff within the Pod in coordination with the Health Center Manager.
- Acts as Manager on Duty (MOD) during manager’s absence.
- Creates or assists in the creation and maintenance of staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage is arranged for each shift.
- Identifies and collaborates with the human resources department when staff require a leave of absence or request an accommodation.
- Inspects and appropriately authorizes timesheets and time-off requests according to company and CBA policies when delegated by the HCM.
- Assists the Health Center Manager in the recruitment, onboarding, training, transferring, and exiting of all staff, including those that are part of the pod or report to other supervisors.
- Ensures proper implementation of and adherence to policies and procedures and takes disciplinary action in coordination with Health Center Manager, when delegated.
- Models communication and culture in line with our In This Together Values, Services Standards and REACT model and coaches staff to do the same.
- Motivates employees and ensures a focus on the mission and business.

- Identifies and mitigates risks associated with employment laws such as discrimination and harassment in collaboration with the center manager and human resources department.
- Reviews and analyzes employment data, such as engagement and turnover, and proposes and implements changes.
- Conducts all supervisory responsibilities according to the requirements within the PPRM/Labor Union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
COVID-19 Protocol: Vaccination against COVID-19 will no longer be a condition of employment. However, all Health Center/Patient or Community Facing Employees, must have the COVID vaccine or wear a mask at all times beginning November 1st. Proof must be uploaded upon hire. Flu Protocol: All employees working directly with patients, the community or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient/community contact or while in the health center from October 1st – April 30th each year (Flu Season).
