We are seeking a SW Engineering Line Manager to provide strategic leadership for cross-functional teams including BI, Data Science, EDW Engineering, and Data Integration, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and enterprise data strategy.

Position will be done REMOTE

• Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams spanning BI, Data Science, EDW Engineering, and Data Integration.

• Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with customer needs and enterprise data initiatives.

• Foster collaboration across teams to drive the delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions.

• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking to meet goals and deadlines.

• Mentor, coach, and develop engineering managers and technical leads.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and prioritize initiatives.

• Promote best practices in software engineering, data governance, and agile methodologies.

• Ensure continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the teams.

• Manage budgeting, hiring, and performance evaluations to build a strong, motivated engineering organization.

• Communicate effectively with executives, customers, and team members.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership/management roles.

• Proven track record managing teams across BI, Data Science, EDW Engineering, and Data Integration domains.

• Strong strategic thinking with ability to align technology initiatives to business goals.

• Experience with enterprise data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data platforms.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with agile and lean software development practices.

• Ability to mentor and develop leaders within technical teams.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
