Responsibilities:Compile, research, and analyze risk and IT data to identify trends, issues, and emerging threats
Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures, manuals, workflows, and control processes for IT Risk teams—including audit, vulnerability management, control testing, and issue management
Partner with subject-matter experts to ensure procedures, requirements, and controls remain current with regulations, frameworks, and organizational policies
Evaluate risk reporting and prepare clear, data-driven recommendations to support decision-making and risk-mitigation strategies
Serve as a training and documentation specialist for multiple IT Risk teams, delivering guidance and knowledge transfer on processes and best practices
Lead or advise on complex, high-impact projects requiring extensive and diversified knowledge of IT risk management principles
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all risk documentation and reporting efforts
Continuously review and improve risk processes, controls, and documentation for greater efficiency and effectiveness
- Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of experience in IT risk, audit, cybersecurity, or related risk-management functions
Proven ability to research, analyze, and synthesize complex technical and business data into clear documentation and actionable insights
Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), control testing, vulnerability management, and audit processes
Demonstrated skill in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures, technical manuals, workflows, and control documentation
Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL) and experience preparing data-driven recommendations for leadership decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational and time-management abilities with experience leading or advising cross-functional risk or IT teams on high-impact projects
