Join our high-performing Intelligent Automation (RPA) team at National Grid, where you'll play a vital role in driving the energy transition. Utilize your passion for innovation and problem-solving to develop and implement RPA solutions, support process excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Be part of a pioneering team pushing the boundaries in Utilities and contribute to shaping strategic programs for business efficiency.

 

The role is based out of our Warwick office, however we offer a hybrid policy for this role. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you

What you'll do

If you can work collaboratively to help National Grid achieve their business outcomes, have a keen interest in technology, as well as, intellectual curiosity and energy, the Intelligent Automation (RPA) team within Enterprise Business Services could be the team for you.

 

  • Follow the best practices, process and methodology of the team.
  • Develop and build RPA solutions using RPA tools (UIPath & Power Automate). This will entail hands on code development, working with the end users to ensure it is tested and supporting the process post go live.
  • Support Process Excellence (Lean Methodology) to drive the standardisation of business process across multiple product lines working closely with business, operations and technical teams.
  • Monitor all live process, via orchestrator ensuring service levels are met
  • Support the development of change requests and ensuring they are appropriate and fit for purpose.
  • Support existing RPA processes, work with other developers to fix any issues that need a code change

What you'll have

We’re interested in people who are passionate about solutions, RPA & innovative tech, who understand how to grow and lead.

 

We are looking for developers with experience of the whole product lifecycle, encompassing development, testing and support:

 

  • Experience with both Power Automate and UIPath Platforms with a focus on Power platforms
  • Experience on system integration/system developing
  • Process improvement (Lean Methodology)
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks - Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of working in an Agile, Dev Ops environment
  • Experience working with Subject Matter Experts to fully understand and design the requirements for each RPA
  • Experience in working with/implementing Machine Learning/AI specifically using Power Platform

What you'll get

From £45,000 - £50,000 dependent upon experience.

 

As well as your base salary you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
