Job Title: Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability
Location: Bengaluru - Manyata Tech Park
Business & Team: The CBA India Finance team is responsible for the comprehensive financial management of the entity, working in tandem with various Technology Business Units in India. Our team ensures that all financial operations are aligned with the strategic goals of the organization, providing critical support to the business units in managing their budgets, forecasting, and financial planning.
The CBA India Finance team also encompasses support functions such as Treasury, Corporate Secretarial, Legal, and Corporate Social Responsibility teams. These functions play a vital role in ensuring that our financial operations are not only compliant with regulatory requirements but also contribute to the overall corporate governance and social responsibility goals of the organization.
Impact & Contribution:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive CSR strategies that align with the company’s mission, values and Group objectives.
- Managing and overseeing CSR programs and initiatives, including sustainability projects, community outreach and philanthropic activities.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address social, environmental relevant to the business.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of CSR initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations to management and CSR Committee.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies, standards and best practices in corporate social responsibility.
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial requirements along with various reports to be presented at the CSR Committee & Management.
- Preparing and publishing timely monthly reports to the Management.
- Promoting awareness and engagement in CSR activities among employees and the broader community.
- Representing the company at CSR-related events, conferences and forums to enhance our reputation and build partnerships.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and execute CSR programs that address key social and environmental challenges while supporting Group goals.
- Develop and manage relationships with non-profit organizations (NPOs)/ Implementing Partners, community groups and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate volunteer opportunities and employee engagement initiatives to foster a culture of social responsibility.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations and communications on CSR activities and achievements to internal and external audiences.
- Conduct research and stay informed about emerging trends, best practices and regulatory changes in CSR.
- Manage budgets and resources allocated to CSR programs, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds.
- Collaborate with business communications teams to promote CSR initiatives and successes, on various platforms.
- Stay updated with relevant updates in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a CSR and Sustainability Manager, or similar role with 8 - 10years in CSR or sustainability.
- Strong understanding of CSR principles, regulations, rules, frameworks and best practices in the context of the Indian and international corporate landscape.
- Experience in managing corporate philanthropy and community outreach initiatives.
- Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and relationship management.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Works or Master/ Bachelor’s Business Administration.
- Certified through Professional institutes like ICAI, ICSI, IICA or equivalent on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability, or a related field.
