The Opportunity

Are you passionate about shaping the future of legal talent?  

 

As a Senior Adviser in our Early Careers team based in Perth, you will join a collaborative nationwide team who are committed to make a lasting impact on the next generation of legal professionals. 

 

What you’ll do 

You’ll own the Perth early careers portfolio, managing the full lifecycle from campus attraction through to graduate development and placement. You’ll also play a key role in national projects, collaborating across offices to deliver innovative, inclusive and high-impact programs. 

 

Perth Portfolio 

  • Lead clerkship and graduate recruitment, program delivery, rotations and placements. 

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience aligned with diversity and business goals. 

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to graduates, supporting wellbeing, performance and engagement. 

  • Build strong relationships with universities and external partners to enhance our brand. 

 

National Projects 

  • Own and deliver strategic initiatives such as international secondments, assessment design, and technology adoption. 

  • Contribute to national policy and process improvements, sharing best practice across offices. 

  • Partner with specialist teams internally to embed firm-wide initiatives into early careers programs. 

 

Systems & Reporting 

  • Maintain recruitment systems and ensure data accuracy for timely, insightful reporting. 

  • Support continuous improvement through data-driven decision making. 

 

Brand & EVP 

  • Champion our employer brand, values and commitment to diversity across all candidate touchpoints. 

  • Collaborate with marketing to activate our EVP through digital and social campaigns. 

 

What you’ll bring 

You’re a confident, proactive professional with: 

  • Experience in early careers recruitment ideally from a legal or professional services firm. 

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. 

  • A passion for diversity, equity and inclusion in talent pathways. 

  • Excellent communication, project management and organisational skills. 

  • A data-driven mindset and comfort with recruitment systems.
