Veterinary Technician Student Externship

The Role:
As a veterinary technician student extern, you’ll be mentored through our structured program — the same mentorship new permanent hires receive. You’ll gain hands‐on experience in many areas of veterinary care, including:

• Patient care & gentle handling
• Surgery preparation & assistance
• Dental procedures
• Lab diagnostics & sample processing
• Client communication & education

What We Are Looking For:

• Enrollment in an AVMA‐accredited veterinary technology program
• A strong passion for animal care and working as part of a team
• Prior experience as a veterinary assistant is a plus, but not required
