Administrative Assistant to the Principal

LOCATION:

Eastham Elementary School

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

• Provide a high level of secretarial, administrative, and operational support to the Principal and staff to ensure the efficient operation of the school and a positive, effective, safe learning environment for all students
• Ability to work in a busy office environment and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Extensive and congenial public relations and contact with students, staff, and parents
• Collect and maintain all student data in the information system database, including student registrations, attendance, schedules, and other reporting as required by DESE
• Ability to complete state and federal reports, handbooks, spreadsheets, and notices
• Completion of purchasing documents, schedule building use, staff attendance, and student records
• Full-time, 12 month position, 40 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong secretarial/administrative assistant experience and skills
• Exemplary organization skills, initiative, and attention to detail
• Experienced and skilled in the use of technology, Microsoft office, Google Platform, and as well as other information management/database applications

SALARY:

Per the Administrative Assistants Contract
