JOB DETAILS:

SUMMARY:

Ensure smooth, safe, and courteous lift operations by maintaining orderly lift areas, conducting daily checks, managing lift line flow, and assisting guests to enhance their overall experience.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

  • Maintain a high level of customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Provide knowledgeable support regarding Bridger Bowl products, services, and experiences.
  • Assist in resolving guest concerns or escalate to Supervisors or Managers as needed.
  • Load guests into chairs in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Regularly interact with guests to ensure safety and deliver positive experiences.
  • Maintain snow as instructed, including the removal of large amounts of snow in a short time. 
  • Provide maintenance to the ramps and maze areas.
  • Operate assigned station in accordance with ANSI B-77 Code.
  • Perform motor room checks as instructed.
  • Fill out Lift Logs and Incident Reports neatly and accurately.
  • Maintain lift buildings and personal work areas in a neat, clean, and decluttered manner.
  • Maintain run closure signs as instructed.
  • Understand and enforce the Lift Operations department Policies & Procedures. 
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Lift Operations Managers.

SUPERVISION:

  • Supervision Given:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Supervision Received:  Works under the supervision of the Lift Operations Leads.  Receive assignments as directed, with clear expectations, available guidance, and periodic performance reviews as needed or during check-ins.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS, AND ADDITIONAL INFO:


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess the ability to ski from assigned stations to the base area.  Level II skiing ability is preferred but not required. 
  • Ability to work in physically demanding, ever-changing outdoor environments for up to 8+ hours per day.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Outdoor: Regularly working in quickly changing winter weather conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements. May be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces.
  • Fast-paced, high-demand environment during peak periods requiring alertness, quick decision-making, and efficiency to maintain safety.
  • Exposure to mechanical components and electrical hazards; personal injuries from repetitive strain, falls, and from assisting guests are possible.
  • Work physically near others throughout the shift.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to reach, crouch, stoop, kneel, stand, bend, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. 
  • May require moving items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Involves repetitive physical tasks, such as loading and unloading guests. 
  • This position may require visual abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to safely perform essential job functions.
  • Requires the ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, communicate effectively with coworkers and visitors, handle stressful situations and upset customers, and completing tasks independently and efficiently.
