Madden’s is currently seeking seasonal Lead Baristas.  This position will assist customers with purchases at Madden Brother’s Market. This position is looking for candidates who can work through the end of October.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with scheduling of Staff.
• Assist with Monthly inventory and ordering of products when needed.
• Supervising daily operations.
• Performs opening and closing procedures for the market.
• Processes sales transactions utilizing POS system.
• Ensures store items are stocked regularly.
• Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to guests.
• Follow recipes for both hot & cold beverages.
• Participates in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
• Assists customers with questions and concerns and locating items.
• Regular and reliable attendance
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Organized, great communication, decisive & flexible.
• Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills.
• Great decision-making skills.
• Must be able to work alongside other people and independently.
• Time management.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Barista or equivalent experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in multiple outlets and facilities.  

Physical Demands:

Primarily walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up trays of plates and drinks repeatedly.

Expected Hours of Work:

Variable schedule with nights and weekend required.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel required.
