The Community Van Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transport of all SJRMC van customers and maintain the vehicle’s mechanical and physical integrity.Required Behaviors:

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current New Mexico Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Basic Customer Service Skills
- Ability to take and pass a basic CPR and Defensive Driving Course within six (6) months of hire date
- Ability to lift or push up to seventy-five 75 pounds
- Good Communication Skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Thoughtful Anticipation: anticipates the needs of those who will be transported by providing timely service
- Maintain the Sacred Trust of all riders by driving safely and providing good sound defensive driving
- Personal Reverence: Keeps in close communication with the Van Transport Supervisor regarding the van schedule
- Team Accountability: Performs morning inspections of the SJRMC vehicle - mechanical and physical integrity, reports any necessary maintenance needs
- Sacred Trust: Each employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC’s Service Standards into their daily work: Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship
- Other duties as assigned
