Position Summary:
The Vice President of Strategy for LNNA UK will be responsible for shaping and driving the division’s long-term growth strategy. This includes leading market intelligence, developing new business models, evaluating M&A and partnership opportunities, and steering cross-functional strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical rigor, strategic foresight, and industry insight to support transformational change and sustainable competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

·        Define and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for the LNNA UK division.

·        Partner with the executive leadership team to develop and refine corporate objectives and strategic plans.

·        Lead annual strategic planning processes, including market assessments and scenario analysis.

Market and Competitive Intelligence

·        Conduct in-depth analysis of legal technology trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and regulatory changes.

·        Generate actionable insights and recommendations to inform product, go-to-market, and investment strategies.

Growth Initiatives

·        Identify and assess new business opportunities, markets, and technologies aligned with the company's core competencies.

·        Drive inorganic growth strategies including partnerships, alliances, and M&A evaluations.

Strategic Projects and Transformation

·        Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver on strategic priorities such as AI implementation, platform modernization, and customer experience innovation.

·        Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on strategic challenges and opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement

·        Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Corporate Development teams.

·        Prepare and present strategic recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team and RELX corporate executives.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years in senior-level management, corporate strategy, business development or consulting, ideally within the legal market or legal enterprise technology sector.

• Customer Centricity: Proven ability to lead with a customer driven mindset, consistently aligning strategy, innovation, and execution to deliver exceptional value and experiences

• Leadership: Strong executive presence, thought leadership, Cross-Functional influence,  Change Agent, Collaborative Mindset, and Ethical Leadership

• Skills: Exceptional relationship-building, Strategic Planning & Execution, Market and Competitive Intelligence, Data-Driven decision making

• Education: Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for New York candidates is $194,000-277,000
