Overview
Sunrun is seeking an experienced and innovative Demand Planner with a record of continuous improvement and demonstrated success in demand planning and inventory management. The Demand Planner will be primarily responsible for creating/maintaining Demand/Supply Plans in the planning tools and creating requisitions for material. Managing the Inventory throughout the network is a critical expectation in support of installation schedules across all Branches throughout the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Accurate and effective setup of Oracle attributes to ensure alignment of material replenishment with planning methodologies
Collaborate with Business Units on refinement of materials forecasts
Develop and improve materials planning processes necessary to operate an effective planning organization in an Oracle ERP / Tools Group environment
Track and manage inventory performance for all Sunrun Branch locations
Ensure materials availability in accordance with Branch Stock Plans whilst also driving inventory level reductions and higher turns
Optimize material flow and efficiency in the value chain through continuous improvement of inventory management strategies and tactical execution
Mitigate P&L impact of excess & obsolete inventory through analysis of inventory movement patterns at both aggregate and individual Branch levels and lead the disposition process for such material
Collaborate with Business Units, Project Management and Purchasing functions on the execution of milestone-based procurement activities to support the installation pipeline
Analyze and manage min/max planned material and safety stock levels
Act as the escalation point when Materials issues and/or conflicts arise in support of Branch operations
Support field service and warranty material needs
Coordinate the requisitioning and supply of material which may be stocked out or require alternative substitutes due to discontinued or obsoleted status
Other planning and logistics related duties may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management or similar discipline highly desired; or
Equivalent experience, such as formal training in materials management, APICS certification, or continuous education in related fields
3+ years experience as a Demand Planner, Master Scheduler, Production Control Analyst, in a build to order environment
3+ years experience in MRP execution and implementation of work orders, min/max, consignment and free stock material management systems
Experience with working in an ERP environment preferred
Successful track record of Materials operations and implementation
NPI Product Transition experience
Advanced-to-Expert level spreadsheet skills, ability to build models for analysis
SQL experience preferred
Detail oriented with a systems outlook
Expert analytical and structured problem solving skills
Concise communications skills and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to execute on multiple projects within defined timelines
Brings self-motivated and can-do attitude
Takes the initiative, identifies and implements improvement opportunities
A team player with ability to maintain focus whilst working in a fast paced environment with rapidly shifting requirements

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
