Title: Senior Director of Marketing

St. Edward's University of Austin, Texas invites applications for the position of Senior Director of Marketing. The Senior Director of Marketing develops and oversees strategic marketing programs to increase awareness of St. Edward's university across audience segments including conversion of prospective undergraduate and graduate students and retention of current students. This leadership role will work closely with positions throughout the Marketing and Communications Division, especially the Senior Director of Content and Communications, the Senior Creative and Web Director and the Senior Director of External Affairs as well as faculty and staff across university divisions.

Minimum Qualifications (Qualifications required to perform the job successfully)
- Bachelor's degree in fields related fields to marketing and communications
- 10+ years of related marketing experience
- 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role, managing multiple employees or interns
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience building and refining results-oriented demand generation programs
- Ability to effectively work within a Martech stack, preferably with Slate, Drupal, Google Analytics experience
- Understanding of university enrollment strategy and approach
- Successful track record with project management and cross−team coordination
- Experience working with creative and content development teams
- Analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven recommendations
- Ability to proactively provide solutions to business challenges and align strategically with other university leadership roles creating and implementing marketing strategies while also leading execution of the marketing plans
- Organized, articulate, creative and thrive with self-directed work
- Track record of piloting ideas, iterating, measuring and improving marketing programs
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy and attribution model to drive qualified enrollment leads through the funnel.
- Oversee program and data management, measurement, analysis and optimization of marketing activities.
- Manage the operating budget resourcing external strategic marketing partner agencies.
- Develop, oversee and evaluate demand generation vendors and activities.
- Lead and mentor a team that delivers and measures enrollment-oriented multichannel marketing programs.
- Collaborate with the leaders of content, communications, creative, web and external affairs.
- Manage the marketing relationship and forge strong partnerships with Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, including cross department working teams.
- Serve as a marketing leader providing strategic direction that is aligned with the St. Edward's University strategic plan and serve on the Marketing and Communications divisional leadership team
- Serve as a leader on the Enrollment Leadership Team and the Communications Operations group and report plans and results to university leadership
- Responsible for regulatory and policy compliance as it applies to the position.
