Your Contribution

Our Quality Manager communicates the customer needs, specifications, government and industry standards to ensure the product and manufacturing processes are in alignment with those requirements.  Works with the supplier of materials and services to ensure compliance with all quality assurance standards.  Responsible for the monitoring and evaluating of internal processes, examining products to determine their quality, engaging with customers, and gathering product feedback.  Supporting a high-performance culture in the identification of waste and inefficiencies are minimalized through employee engagement and lean six sigma methodologies. 

  • Employee engagement and transparency creating a culture that answers ‘why’ and drives ownership to all levels of the business.
  • Ensures work environments are safe, organized, and meet legal obligations.
  • Engaging with the customer to define product specifications, procedures and warranty issues, ensure compliance to those requirements.
  • Ensure manufacturing documentation includes customer and internal requirements to ensure first time quality product.
  • Oversee inspections of products and provide training of team members requiring guidance.
  • Active member on new product launches and advance development projects to identify opportunities for improvement and deviations from current quality standards.
  • Solicit feedback from customers and prepare detailed reports communicating customer satisfaction.
  • Environmentally and socially astute, always considering opportunities to reduce carbon footprint and supporting community activities/events.
  • Ensure training and support growth in team members’ career path.
  • In alignment with CMMC AT.L2-3.2.1, 3.2.2, and 3.2.3, this role involves access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) at the highest security level. The individual must perform all assigned tasks in a manner that ensures no exposure of unclassified information to unauthorized personnel.
  • Successful completion of all required ITAR, CMMC, and Cybersecurity training is mandatory
  • Responsible for product qualification, continuous improvement, and industry compliance to standards (ISO-9001/TS16949).                                        
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office products.
  • Problem Solver - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Project Manager - Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities; Objectivity and openness to other’s views, input and feedback.
  • Promotes and follows the business unit’s Core Efforts and Values.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field or 8 years of direct experience in similar role and industry in lieu of education.
  • Proven ability to manage tasks and team to completion within designated timelines.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office products.
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Problem Solver - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Project Manager - Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities; Objectivity and openness to other’s views, input and feedback.
