Family Practice Great Oaks is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join their team!
The hours are
Monday 10:30am-7pm
Tues-Thursday 9:30-6:00pm
Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
Rotating Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm.
The primary role of this position is to room patients, obtain vitals, accurately document in patient records, and maintain timely patient flow throughout the day.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Document verbal conversations and information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
- Obtain patient signature on Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) according to Medicare requirements.
- Maintain timely patient flow.
- Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
- Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
- Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
- Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
- Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
