Here is what you will get to do:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for driving philanthropic revenue through identifying, developing, securing, and stewarding new and existing corporate donors and sponsors in support of Scottsdale Arts’ and its major operating divisions (Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art –SMoCA, Scottsdale Public Art, Scottsdale Arts Learning & Innovation, Civic Center Live, Canal Convergence, and @Cattletrack).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Under direction of supervisor)
- Identify and Cultivate Partnerships – research and engage prospective corporate sponsors aligned with Scottsdale Arts’ mission.
- Secure Sponsorships and Donations – develop proposals (or grants) to close corporate sponsorships and philanthropic gifts.
- Manage Corporate Relationships – serve as the main contact for partners and ensure fulfillment of sponsorship benefits.
- Collaborate Across Departments – coordinate with internal teams to align sponsorships with events and programs.
- Develop Materials and Reports – create proposals, reports, and track sponsorship activity in CRM system(s).
- Support Revenue Strategy – contribute to fundraising goals and adapt strategies based on corporate giving trends.
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned - provide flexible support through additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, business, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate partnerships, corporate giving, sponsorship sales, or a related fundraising role.
- Proven track record in securing and managing corporate sponsorships or philanthropic partnerships.
- Experience using CRM software required (AudienceView preferred).
Attributes:
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating, securing, and stewarding corporate donors and sponsors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and donor-facing communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to develop compelling sponsorship packages aligned with programming.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with donor databases or CRM systems preferred.
- Genuine interest in the arts and Scottsdale Arts’ mission.
Work Environment:
Regularly required to sit at a desk and work on a computer for long periods of time. Must ambulate in event locations, stoop, kneel, bend, and stand for long periods of time. Must sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, see, reach with hands and arms to operate computer equipment, telephone and basic office equipment. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and color vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Scottsdale Arts is a non-smoking work environment. Due to the nature of the position, requires a flexible schedule including weeknight evenings and weekends to support and attend programs, fundraisers, special events, and other related donor cultivation events. Travels within the metropolitan valley area frequently.
Other requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is acceptable to the organization’s insurance carrier.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
