Description
Scope: Create a smooth paintable surface that matches the OE design on all aluminum wheels and other related products.
Follow All AWRS, OSHA and Local Safety protocols and guidelines. DO NOT operate any equipment or machinery unless properly trained and certified
??Role and Responsibilities?
- Prep aluminum wheels and other related products
- Ensure that damaged products and repaired welds are ground and/or sanded to match the OE design
- Keep pace with required production volume
- Maintain workstations, equipment, etc.
- Target Zero % personal rework rate
Task:
- Properly prep aluminum wheels by grinding and sanding
- Operate all prep hand tools such as grinders and palm sanders
- Inspect work to ensure all defects have been prepped properly
- Finish daily workload each day
Requirements
- Prior experience in wheel prep, sanding, grinding, or similar industrial/production environments preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow company standards and safety protocols.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to meet daily workload requirements.
