For over 60 years, Lyle Machinery Co. has been an industry leading new and used equipment dealer who operates 11 branches throughout 5 states. In addition to sales, LMC performs service and repairs, both on-site and in the field, as well as providing leases and rentals of heavy equipment. We have 10 locations in 5 states and constantly growing!
Job duties:
- Customer focused candidate to represent and sell products and parts to walk-in and telephone customers as well as internal customers
- Will provide robust customer service by displaying a positive attitude to ensure the highest customer satisfaction possible
- Responsible for parts counter sales as well as walk in customer sales. Some deliveries of parts
- Unloading of whole goods freight
- Will develop and manage long term customer relationships
- Will maximize gross margin contribution through sales
- Provide customer follow up and product education
- Learn and execute financing options in order to assist customers
- Constantly strive to improve knowledge of features of all equipment and parts sold by dealership
Requirements
Required

- Ability to multi-task effectively, stay organized and operate under stress
- Process paperwork timely and accurately
- Clean driving record

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends
- Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs, operate fork lift
Preferred
- Comfort with mechanical issues
- 2 to 5 years parts/sales experience
