Location- Fort Worth, TX - Hybrid

Note- Any of these certifications are required ( CISSP, CCSP, CGRC, CISA, CISM, and/or CRISC)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Risk Analyst to lead risk assessments across IT and business projects, recommend mitigation strategies, and support internal compliance initiatives such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). This role involves close collaboration with IT, business stakeholders, and offshore service providers to evaluate and manage risks to information assets, systems, and applications. Responsibilities include monitoring vulnerabilities and security events, ensuring remediation actions are tracked, developing security policies and procedures, and delivering awareness training

Required Experience & Skills:

Experience:

• 5 years in IT, with at least 3 years in Cybersecurity or IT Security roles (preferably Governance, Risk & Compliance).
• Risk management expertise, including risk monitoring, reporting, and quantification.
• Conducting CyberSecurity compliance reviews or spot checks.

Technical Knowledge:

• Information security architecture, firewalls, intrusion detection, PKI, IPSec, VPN, data encryption.
• Contingency planning and secure application coding.
• Familiarity with Information Security Frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 27005).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Communication:

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.

Motivation:

• Interest in growing a career in Cybersecurity.

Preferred/Additional Skills:

• Experience in Information Security within Financial Institutions.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CGRC, CISA, CISM, CRISC.
• Knowledge of US regulations (NYCRR 500, GLBA, etc.).
• Experience managing Compliance Management Systems.
• Familiarity with JIRA (especially admin roles).
• Understanding governance in cloud environments.
• Third Party Risk Management experience.
• Knowledge of audit procedures
