Job Summary

In the role of a Tack Truck Driver you will support positive safety culture in an construction environment. Operating and Maintaining Tac Truck for Stavola Construction.

 Day to Day

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• The ability to operate one piece of equipment(Water Truck, Tri-Axel, Lowbed, Tac, Fuel)
• Operate Trucks in construction environment
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

About You

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Working Conditions and physical environment

Work will be performed on roadway. While most trucks have air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.

Compensation

• $31.40 per hour
