POSITION SUMMARY:
 

The Regional Warehouse Manager is a leadership position covering multiple warehouse locations. The Regional Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall safety, quality, efficiency, inventory accuracy and adherence to all standard operating procedures pertaining to the warehouse teams.  The Regional Warehouse Manager is responsible for organizing, motivating, and leading teams to deliver against key performance indicators.  The Regional Warehouse Manager is accountable for driving financial performance, efficiency in multiple office locations and effectively partnering with the Inventory team to ensure accuracy and on time delivery of equipment.  

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Ability to manage, organize, and oversee all aspects of Warehouse Operations 
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and mentor all warehouse personnel to create a positive, constructive, and performance driven environment 
  • Understand and implement Warehouse standard operating processes and procedures 
  • Ability to evaluate and manage the resources and processes required for the successful warehouse operations 
  • Manage multiple warehouse locations  
  • Assist in development and training of inventory systems and processes  
  • Performing quarterly inventory audits 
  • Ensure that all warehouses are focused on safety, quality, and inventory accuracy 
  • Uphold the importance of adhering to all safety practices and compliances, ensuring that employees receive the proper safety training and equipment applicable to their position 
  • Coordinate with Inventory team daily 
  • Ability to understand and manage the assigned region’s performance to key performance metrics as set by leadership and management 
  • Manage operations team to meet departmental goals via appropriate allocation of workload and effective resource management 
  • Recruit, supervise and train warehouse personnel   
  • Formulate performance improvement plans/reviews and makes termination decisions as necessary 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

 

Education & Certifications: 

 

  • High School Graduate or GED 

Experience: 

 

  • 5+ years Warehouse Management experience 
  • 1+ years solar experience 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • High level of organizational and time management skills 
  • Operationally focused; detailed oriented but able to grasp big picture 
  • Excellent people skills, able to manage, motivate and discipline if necessary 
  • Excellent skills with MS Excel, MS Word and project management tools 
  • Familiarity with IMS systems (Fishbowl) is a plus 
  • Strong work ethic, analytical, understands how to manage people effectively and leads by example  
  • High Level of risk analysis, critical thinking and the ability to provide solutions  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must have a valid state’s driver license and a clean driving record 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES 

  • Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers 
  • Regularly spend long hours answering phone calls and emails 
  • Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly 
  • Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering information into a computer 
  • Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects 
  • Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away 
  • Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand 
  • Regularly understand the speech of another person 
  • Frequently work on projects that require deadlines 
  • Frequently bend to file and maintain files 
  • Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds 
If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
