The Rotational Program - Nuveen Asset Managemnt Analyst participates in a comprehensive rotational program that combines senior leadership interaction and cross-business experience with real life situations and projects. This job works with financial services technology platforms and tools and learns techniques, disciplines and processes to become more familiar with financial services. Each rotation is designed to improve business knowledge and build an overall understanding of the company. This job is assigned a mentor who provides ongoing coaching and feedback.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Gains knowledge across various business functions to help discover which role fits best.
- Develops skills and gains experience to ensure a successful career at TIAA.
- Executes project activities by understanding objectives, meeting time lines and communicating results.
- Assists in preparing information and research materials, including Powerpoint presentations.
- Takes notes during meetings and provides to team members.
- Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.
- Shadows multiple office jobs and trains in a variety of function-related tasks.

- Utilizes academic knowledge, skills and experience to apply tactics and strategies to solve real business challenges.

Overview: The Sales and Distribution Rotational Associate will develop expertise in client relationship management, investment product sales, and distribution strategies across multiple client segments. This program prepares future sales and relationship management professionals to effectively serve Nuveen's diverse client base.

Responsibilities:
Support relationship management teams in servicing institutional and wealth management clients
Assist with preparation of client presentations, investment proposals, and marketing materials
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to identify sales opportunities
Contribute to consultant relationship management and RFP responses
Support advisor education and development initiatives
Additional Requirements:
Must have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or higher prior to the program's start date
Preferred Qualifications:
Participation in TIAA’s Summer Associate Internship Program
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Client-centric mindset and relationship-building capabilities
Analytical skills and attention to detail
Interest in investment sales, distribution, and client relationship management
Development Opportunities:
Completion of Series 7 and 66 licensing during first rotation
Direct exposure to client-facing roles across wealth and institutional segments
Development of product knowledge and consultative sales skills
Anticipated Posting End Date:
2025-09-23Base Pay Range: $80,000/yr - $85,000/yrActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
