Position responsible for leading the development of policies, communication plans, and training programs to support IT business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or Associates degree preferred

Licenses/ Certifications: (None)

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Seven (7) years experience with the designated process

  • In-depth knowledge of the processes assigned to this position

  • Demonstrated pattern of growth in ability to mentor others

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Record of effective communication with staff and management

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead training programs

  • Practices the art of internal consulting

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develops strategies, and manages tasks and people in the implementation of these strategies, with minimal supervision.

  • Provides direction and communication to IS management to ensure awareness of issues, trends, and requirements.

  • Leads in the development and enhancement of policies and procedures.

  • Develops and implements a communication strategy, processes & tools.

  • Identifies training needs and develops programs and materials to meet those needs.

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to IS management and staff in the use of tools and methodologies.

  • Monitors compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced Process Coordinators.

  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.

  • Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences. Models Memorial Hermann’s service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
