Location: Home Care Department/Customized Living
Position Status: Part Time- 32 hours/pay period (.4)
Schedule: Flexible scheduling available; includes a weekend/holiday rotation
Pay Range: $17.68 - $24.76/hour
The Certified Nursing Assistant will work as a member of our RiverView Home Care team providing care in both the home and Customized Living setting. The Home Health/Customized Living Aide will work under the oversight of the RN Clinical Managers and Clinical Coordinator/Managers and provide tasks such as personal cares, housekeeping/laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders/administration, safety checks, assistance with making appointments, exercises as assigned by the professional staff person.

Primary responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparations as needed.
 - Obtain and document Vitals/Blood pressures and exercises as assigned.
 - Light housekeeping/laundry as assigned.
 - Provide duties that are planned and assigned by the professional nurse to meet the client and family situation.
 - Serves individuals from infancy through the elderly adult population; to meet the physical, mental and emotional needs of our clients.
 - Document according to current standards and policies
 - Monitor clients and report changes to RN Case Managers and or Clinical Coordinators/Managers.

Required:
- Current State of Minnesota license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. If not certified must complete class/test out within 4 months of hire.
 - Current Drivers License and dependable transportation is required.
 - Current American Heart Life Saver certification. If not held currently, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire.
 
Preferred:
- 1-year experience with Home Care, Nursing Home, Or Customized Living experience preferred.
