Job Description:
  • Oversee and monitor all aspects of construction projects, including site preparation, civil works, structural works, architectural works, MEP works, testing and commissioning, and handover.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with contractual
  • requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, environmental policies, and local laws
  • Plan, schedule, budget, and coordinate resources, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • to meet project objectives and deadlines
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks, issues, and changes that may affect the project scope, cost, quality, or schedule
  • Review and approve design drawings, specifications, shop drawings, technical submittals,method statements, and as-built documents
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and evaluations to ensure quality control, safety
  • performance, and client satisfaction
  • Resolve any conflicts, disputes, or claims that may arise during the project execution, and escalate to senior management when necessary
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, invoices, claims, variations, and other project documents to relevant parties
  • Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the project team and foster a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork
  • Oversee the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for various types of construction projects, such as residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure
  • Ensure the compliance of MEP systems with relevant standards, codes, regulations, and
  • specifications, as well as the contractual requirements and expectations of the clients
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of MEP subcontractors, engineers, technicians, and inspectors, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of their work
  • Manage the budget, schedule, and resources of the MEP scope of work, and identify and mitigate any risks or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
  • Person should have at least 10 years of construction experience and Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Electrical, or Mechanical, Construction Project Management, or Construction Management
  • MEP Project Manager with experience in Data centres
  • Candidate who can lead the site construction activities on day-to-day basis and ensuring that the works are getting executed in line with the approved drawings without any deviations.
