What will you be doing?
As the HR point of contact for Mexico, Brazil, and Puerto Rico, you will provide day-to-day support to employees and leaders while ensuring compliance with local and global HR practices. You’ll manage core HR operations such as onboarding, employee relations, payroll and benefits coordination, and documentation. Success in this role requires strong communication, empathy, and teamwork. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to expand into leading onboarding sessions and HR communications.
This position is based in Mexico City and requires in-office presence once per week (Wednesdays), with flexibility to attend additional days as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Employee Support & Relations
Serve as the HR point of contact for Mexico, Brazil, and Puerto Rico, addressing employee inquiries and routing them to the right resources.
Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting open communication, inclusivity, and teamwork.
Provide guidance to leaders on employee relations, conflict resolution, and—when necessary—performance or disciplinary actions.
Support employee engagement and retention through activities that enhance satisfaction and belonging.
HR Operations
Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition on staffing needs, recruitment, and onboarding.
Manage employee lifecycle activities including promotions, transfers, leaves, terminations, and offboarding.
Prepare and maintain HR documentation (contracts, employee letters, records) with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
Coordinate with payroll and benefits vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support performance management, employee development, and talent initiatives in partnership with the HR Manager.
Design, implement, and monitor training programs aligned with business needs and career development goals.
Collaborate with legal on contracts and compliance requirements.
Compliance & Development
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global policies; coordinate and deliver required compliance training.
Analyze HR metrics, prepare reports, and share insights with leadership.
Contribute to global HR and business projects while driving process improvements locally.
Stay current on HR best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements

- Applications/resumes must be submitted in English.
3+ years of HR experience handling sensitive and confidential information, ideally in marketing, data, or related industries.
Advanced English and Spanish required; Portuguese (basic or willingness to learn) strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Knowledge of local, state, federal, and international HR legislation.
Strong administrative background with experience in HR operations, documentation, payroll, and benefits administration.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to advise leaders, influence decisions, and provide HR solutions that support team and manager development.
Ability to bring immediate credibility to the HR function through professional qualifications, leadership presence, and integrity.
Resilient under pressure with adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, HRIS, payroll, and accounting systems.
Experience working with third-party payroll and benefits vendors a plus.
Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $510,300 – $567,000 MXN annually, which is a gross salary (before taxes and deductions). This is equivalent to approximately $42,525 – $47,250 MXN monthly (gross). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits to eligible employees in Mexico, including paid time off and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
