As NTU advances its education vision and shapes undergraduate learning for the future, the Assistant Director, for Associate Provost (Undergraduate Education), will play a pivotal role in designing, enabling, and safeguarding NTU’s undergraduate education ecosystem.
This role is both strategic and hands-on: you will translate academic vision into action by reviewing and shaping policies, enabling innovative curriculum development, ensuring quality assurance, and driving initiatives that prepare NTU students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. You will work closely with senior academic leaders, leveraging best practices from top global universities while ensuring NTU’s values of academic excellence, integrity, and innovation remain central.

Key Responsibilities
- Policy & Strategy Development
- Research global best practices and propose education strategies aligned with NTU’s long-term academic priorities.
- Support the review and development of undergraduate policies and frameworks, ensuring coherence across disciplines.
- Curriculum & Academic Quality
- Review and advise on curriculum and course proposals from Colleges and Schools.
- Oversee policy and governance for MOOCs and digital learning, ensuring timely updates.
- Administer and manage quality assurance and reporting on undergraduate programme performance, risks, and outcomes.
- Programme & Stakeholder Engagement
- Drive implementation of undergraduate initiatives
- Serve as secretariat for undergraduate-related committees and liaise across academic and administrative units.
- Facilitate workshops and engagements with faculty and stakeholders to support policy adoption and innovation.
- Institutional Contribution
- Strengthen NTU’s undergraduate education by working collaboratively with the Registrar’s Office, SASD, and academic colleges.
- Ensure policies and programmes reflect NTU’s commitment to integrity, student development, and global competitiveness.
- Assist APUE office in implementing, ensuring, monitoring and reporting of the successful rollout of NTU undergraduate education initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in higher education, curriculum development, or academic policy.
- Familiarity with global undergraduate education trends and NTU’s operating context.
- Understanding of higher education business models and governance.
- Proven experience in programme management, policy development, and academic operations.
