We are looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team based in Melbourne. The Senior Contract Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing the administration of contracts across all phases of the project lifecycle. This role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, mitigates risk, and supports commercial outcomes through effective contract management and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts for major projects.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and client specifications.
- Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of contract changes, claims, and variations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior contract administrators.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or commercial sectors.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and project delivery frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
