About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Consultant. This role will lead Alteryx & Automation transformation projects from start to completion with strong governance. The role requires ongoing interactions with various initiatives team working out of EMEA and APAC. This position will also be responsible for working closely with cross-functional stakeholders globally, including Finance, Risk and Operations. In addition, this role needs to deliver business benefits, drive efficiency, simplification and standardization while keeping robust controls.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunity for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements within Risk Management
- Review and analyze programing models to extract data, and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling, and exercise independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium risk deliverables
- Coordinate and consolidate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for more experienced management
- Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues
- Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policy governance, risk projects, and regulatory requests
- Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- B. Tech (IT)/BSC (CS)/MSC (CS) with 2+ yrs of relevant experience.
- Experience with business transformation, process re-engineering and or system implementations.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project life cycle.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
- Demonstrable experience of using Alteryx
- Alteryx Certification e.g., Design core certified at a minimum.
- Ability to understand and analyze complex problems and thus create the provision of creative and dynamic solutions.
- Alteryx Server familiarity
- Strong proven ability in Excel, SQL Office 365 products, and other design tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data, and drive experience-centric change actions.
- Experience leading workshops.
- Experience of operating, understanding, and performing within a financial close process
Job Expectations:
- Experience working in global teams.
- Proficient in working with complex data model, especially associated with building new products.
- Advanced desktop skills in MS Office products especially MS Excel and MS Access and tools like Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, Power Apps.
- Experience in researching and resolving Data flow issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain partnership with key stakeholders and partners.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be agile, flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business requirements.
- Ability to perform well under pressure
