WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The SimCorp Dimension product was initially designed for running on-premises with clients, utilizing hardware resources being available 24/7. As we move our business model towards being a SaaS provider based on Microsoft Azure, the team works on providing capabilities which helps in handling configurations between multiple SimCorp Dimension installations.

As our new Software Engineer in Test, you will join one of the Scrum Teams in Configuration Product Area.

You will work with Product Owners, System Architects, a community of subject matter experts, and other Engineers, with the goal of building new tools to help SimCorp in its SaaS transformation journey. You will be responsible for creating and expanding test automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement of quality in your team.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Taking the lead in the testing process within your scrum team

  • Developing and maintaining test pipelines and environments

  • Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable test automation framework

  • Continuously improving test automation coverage

  • Consistently propose solutions and approaches to improve quality and team performance

  • Offering support and guidance for software engineers to ensure product quality

  • Engaged  participation in requirements analysis sessions with Product Owners

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest

  • Solid core C#/.NET

  • Minimum 10 years of recent experience in software development/automation testing using C#/.NET

  • Proficient analytical, coding, and testing skills, with a deep understanding of software testing theory

  • Proficiency in REST API automation

  • Proficient in Git and continuous integration tools (Azure, TeamCity)

  • Experience with Microsoft stack overall

  • Interest and ability to work with complex architecture

  • You value your team and emphasize having an enjoyable working environment

  • Proficient communication skills and fluency in English (speaking and writing)

WHAT WE VALUE

  • GUI test automation experience (typescript, Cypress IO/Playwright)

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes

  • Experience in performance/load testing
