Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to provide as-needed (PRN) support to our HR department. This in-person position plays a key role in supporting HR operations by maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding, and providing clerical and administrative assistance — all while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment.

Pay:$21.97 per hour
Essential Job Functions:
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
• Provides clerical support to the HR department.
• Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
• Assists with planning and execution of special events and projects.
• Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently, when appropriate.
• Compose written correspondence within prescribed guidelines including.
• Perform other functions as required to fulfill the expectations of the Human Resource Assistant.
Minimum Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in an office or administrative support role is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to complete tuberculosis screening process.
