The Loan Servicing Representative 1 is an introductory role in Loan Servicing that supports post-funding processes for consumer and commercial loans by performing routine servicing tasks such as document review, credit disputes, DMV processing, and loan reworks. This role focuses on developing core servicing skills while delivering quality service and supporting overall department goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Personally, provides exceptional member service; uses Service Standards in every work-related interaction.
2. Actively participates in meeting the goals of the department and the Credit Union.
3. Work cooperatively with others as part of a formal or informal team to accomplish department and Credit Union goals.
4. Provides excellent service by using a positive and professional tone to assist callers and team members accurately, thoroughly, and as efficiently as possible while maintaining consistent and friendly service.
5. Uses organizational tools and techniques to complete tasks on time and successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Service

1. Ability to meet and promote team goals; exemplifies innovative problem solving and maintains a positive working environment with all Arrowhead Credit Union (ACU) team members.
2. Responds to member inquires in line with departmental and organizational service expectations.
3. Corrects loan errors or transactions, and effectively communicates with members.
4. Consistently documents contact with members, team members, or third parties; adding appropriate notes in Temenos and preparing supporting documents for imaging.
5. Conducts research and completes processing on member service requests and processes such as DMV matters, title release errors, account disputes, and loan reworks related to loans and credit cards.
6. Balances and reconciles all negotiable items used by the department, processes department invoices, debits accounts, and creates or updates expense tracking records.
7. Ensure that all DMV transactions are processed promptly, including manual transactions, online portal transactions, and posting DMV fees.
8. Processes payments, advances, and adjustments via Member Account Research (MAR) requests received from other departments.
9. Processes Electronic Cash Management (ECM) exceptions.
10. Processes collateral loan payoffs and ensures distribution of funds related to paid accounts.
11. Assists with preparing or amending loan contracts and forms for members or frontline team members to ensure accuracy.
12. Reviews credit disputes via soft inquiries. Escalates inquiries according to departmental procedures and processes and responds to mailed credit disputes.
13. Monitors unusual activity with Listeners and processes all exceptions. Recommend and collaborate with other departments to resolve issue discovered.

The pay range for this position is listed below.  

Starting pay for successful applicants is generally within the minimum to midpoint of the pay range. Our consideration for pay is designed to support career growth and development over time. Offers extended depend on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to individual experience, knowledge, training, education, geographic location, market demands, and internal equity. 

Pay range: 

Minimum: $22.66/hour | Midpoint: $28.33/hour | Maximum: $34.00/hour
