Position Summary  

This role is responsible for driving recruitment efforts and supporting key HR functions across EJF Real Estate Services and its affiliated entities. This role manages the full employee lifecycle—from attracting and hiring top talent to onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate personnel records. This role also contributes to broader HR initiatives, helping foster an engaging, professional, and growth-oriented workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across EJF and affiliated entities, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Compose and update job descriptions to include all pertinent information as well as salary recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment branding initiatives, including job postings, social media presence, career fair participation, and other strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and smooth transitions.
  • Coordinate background/reference checks, collaborate on onboarding/training plans, and ensure completion of required paperwork.
  • Coordinate exit interviews, distribute separation materials, recover company property, and revoke system access.
  • Maintain accurate employment data in the HRIS and generate reports on key HR metrics, including turnover, headcount, and employee demographics.
  • Support and contribute to HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, and HR processes with discretion and accuracy. Refer complex matters to Director of HR.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 4–6 years of HR and recruiting experience (preferably within property management or professional services).
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity strongly preferred) and applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success managing recruiting alongside generalist responsibilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a hyper growth environment.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
