AUXILIARY PROGRAMS COORDINATOR
Pace Academy is an independent college preparatory school in Atlanta with an enrollment of 1,150 students in Pre-First through 12th grade. This full-time, year-round role supports all aspects of Pace’s Auxiliary Programs, with a primary focus on the daily operations of the Campus Store. The coordinator also assists with academic-year after-school programs and summer programs, working closely with both the Auxiliary Programs team and the Business Office. We are seeking a candidate who is energetic, creative, organized, detail-oriented and a self-motivated team player.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campus Store Operations
Manage all daily operations of the Campus Store, including assisting customers, processing sales, and maintaining a welcoming and organized environment
Assist with overseeing inventory management of Pace gear and spirit items: ordering, receiving, stocking, and reconciling merchandise for the store and satellite sales at school events
After-School and Summer Programs Support
Assist and support the planning and logistics of student after-school and summer programs
Assist with summer programs operations and logistics, including carpool, managing lunch attendance and checking in with program vendors to support where needed
General Auxiliary Programs Support
Support marketing efforts for the Campus Store and after-school and summer programs, including social media and internal promotions within school communication guidelines
Assist with Auxiliary Programs communications, including group email management, with primary responsibility for the Campus Store group email
Collaborate with the Director of Auxiliary Programs on special projects and strategic initiatives
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and organization
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse groups (students, families, faculty and vendors)
Ability to work independently and proactively while contributing to a collaborative team
Proficient with Google Suite products, including Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Docs, and/or with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to learn school-specific databases for program registration and Campus Store sales
Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred
Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for school events
Ability to lift and carry boxes (e.g., merchandise or event supplies)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, printers, light traffic)
Ability to work in a confined area
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
Work conditions include working outdoors in cold/hot temperatures
Light to moderate lifting up to 30 pounds may be required
