QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation/Leisure studies, Business administration, Hospitality Management, Kinesiology or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- CPRP preferred
- Two years of either event planning, recreation programming or facility management experience.
- Must pass MVR check
Under the general supervision of the Recreation Manager, works in partnership with other employees, departments/divisions, external entities and the public to deliver effective and innovative recreation services. The Employee assists in supervision and implementation of recreational, social, educational programs and activities for citizens, recruitment and assisting with events, seek sponsorship and partnership opportunities. This is a single position classification. It is not part of a series.
