Job Description:


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education: Associate’s degree, college degree preferred.
 
Minimum Work Experience: Minimum2yearsofexperiencewithRaiser’sEdgeexperience and CRM database management.
 
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license. Reliable transportation for occasional travel throughout the service area throughout NJ.

Proficiency in using Raiser’s Edge CRM required.
 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
 
The Prospect Researcher performs a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to the following:

1. Leads the department’s usage of our CRM, Raiser’s Edge to maintain data integrity.

2. Pulls all mailing lists needed to support budget goals for direct mail and other activities supporting the department.

3. Supports major gift pipeline and portfolio development. Iwave list generation for identification of new prospects. Build portfolios and also build donor profiles as needed.

4. Generates weekly gift reports for Chief Development Officer and team.

5. Updates donor records running address finder, deceased finder, updating employee list and board.

6. Works directly with the Database Operations Manager to ensure all data is uploaded in Omatic and Raiser’s Edge.
 
7. Runs monthly and quarterly queries and confirms the accuracy of all reports using deductive reasoning. Explores the source of errors as needed.

8. Uploads the budget into RE and runs reports

9. Lybunt gift renewals monthly

10. Navigates a variety of software programs and extracts reports upon request.

11. Wealth screening through IWAVE, identify prospects to assist towards reaching goals set by Chief Development Officer.

12. Creates spreadsheets in Excel for reporting, as needed.

13. Ensures that data input is accurate to provide the most useful reports for further analysis.

14. Provides data analysis of appeals, events, and lybunts/sybunts.

15. Supports all special events.

1.Raiser’s Edge proficiency to run reports, enter data, and prospect research for fundraising team. Iwave and Research Point proficient. Able to run reports, wealth screen, identify major gift prospects, and assign portfolios.
