Perform inspections and mechanical adjustments, diagnose, repairs and parts replacements for company fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose services through proficient use of electronic testing equipment
  • Perform minor repairs (i.e. electrical components, power windows, power, mirrors, door locks, etc.)
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance on company vehicles, fleet trucks ( i.e. mechanical work on brakes, fuel pumps, alternators, air conditioning, oil changes, tire balancing and rotation, replacing batteries, etc.)
  • Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned b manager or supervisor
  • Overtime (more than 40 hours per week) may be required at times as business needs dictate

Requirements

  • Must have 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong diagnostic skills, electrical skills and well rounded on engines and transmissions
  • Must have a good driving record
  • CDL and State Inspection is a plus

Education & Special Knowledge

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver's license and safe driving record required
  • CDL license with air brake certification is a plus but not required
