We are seeking an Account Executive to act as a technical sales consultant—developing client relationships, crafting proposals, and negotiating contracts for the rental of audiovisual equipment and the provision of technical services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building long-term client partnerships, and is ready to represent LMG at the forefront of live event production.

🧠 What You’ll Be Doing

As an Account Executive, you’ll be the main point of contact for clients—guiding them through the proposal, contract, and event delivery process while ensuring their vision comes to life with LMG’s technical expertise.

Client Engagement – Respond to customer inquiries, understand event requirements, budgets, and timelines, and act as a technical consultant to scope solutions.
Proposal Development – Direct Show Assistants in creating proposals, review final documents, and issue to clients.
Relationship Management – Maintain continuous contact with clients, respond to change requests, follow up on opportunities, and renegotiate terms when needed.
Event Logistics Coordination – Visit venues, survey sites, validate logistics, and ensure equipment and power requirements are accurate and achievable.
Contract & Deposit Management – Explain deposit/commitment requirements, review signed contracts, and ensure invoices are issued appropriately.
Equipment & Resource Coordination – Partner with logistics to confirm gear availability, provide substitutions as necessary, and manage cross-rental requirements while protecting margins.
Show Readiness – Review pulled equipment in the warehouse prior to shipment, authorize dispatch, and ensure all elements are included.
Final Documentation & Billing Support – Prepare detailed records of equipment and labor for billing, and follow up with clients on satisfaction, outstanding issues, and payments.

🛠️ Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment and live event production
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills, with ability to manage contract terms and client expectations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with logistics, labor planning, and cross-rental processes preferred
