Essential Functions

  • Assists the Property Manager to compile, maintain, locate, tag, and code all property
  • Assists the Property Manager to expedite the transfer of property, and ensure that proper signatures and chain of ownership has been established
  • Assists the Property Manager to perform inventory and
  • Assists the Property Manager to document any tagged items when property is relocated
  • Assists the Property Manager to perform property searches for missing property items
  • Assists Property Manager and the CFO/VP of Finance with State generated audits
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with 80+ employees
  • Assists with warehouse storage and extraction
  • Files and Organizes notebooks
  • Other duties as assigned

  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Education

    • High School or GED plus 1-year formal education beyond high level preferred.

    Required Experience

    • 2-4 years closely related work experience in property, inventory, or warehouse OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must be familiar with inventory procedures.  Must have good communication skills to interact effectively with guests, service providers, and employees.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be able to use Windows based operating systems; including some basic associated software applications (i.e. Outlook, Word Processing and Spreadsheet).

    Physical Requirements

    • Sitting for long periods of time engaged in client communication.
    • Active engagement leading hands-on activities, as needed.
    • Off-site travel to deliver programming or meet with educational partners or clients.
    • Lifting and moving of educational materials in support of outreach programming.
    • Ability to address various audiences with appropriate professionalism and respect.

    Eligibility Qualifications

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Environmental Factors

    • This position typically involves working in a climate-controlled office environment. On occasion, it may require outdoor work or work in locations that do not have climate controls to meet operational requirements.

     

     

    Expected Hours of Work

    IT and AV operations occur 24x7, 365 days a year at USSRC. Generally, it is expected to work 40-60 hours per week to meet operational issues, including some work on weekends and holidays.
