Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to lead and grow our business in the Latin American (LATAM) liquid fuels market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy trading, fuel supply chains, and client relationship management across the LATAM region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and contributing to the strategic development of our regional sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in the LATAM liquid fuels sector (diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, fuel oil, etc.).

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of key customers including distributors, industrial users, energy companies, and government agencies.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts, ensuring alignment with company profitability targets and risk policies.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing developments, and competitive intelligence across LATAM countries.

  • Collaborate with supply, logistics, trading, and risk teams to ensure reliable fuel delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings across the region.

  • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic account status.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (master’s preferred).

  • 5–10 years of sales or business development experience in the liquid fuels or energy sector, with a focus on LATAM markets.

  • Deep understanding of fuel supply chains, pricing structures, and regional regulatory environments.

  • Established network of contacts across LATAM in oil & gas, trading, or downstream sectors.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in competitive environments.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel extensively across the region.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with bulk fuel sales, fuel cards, terminals, or blending facilities.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability.
