Job Description:

Job Overview

In the role of Restaurant Technology Project Coordinator, effectively ensure that people and resources for the Restaurant Technology team are used appropriately to accomplish team goals and projects. Manage technology rollout processes, communications and provide rollout updates internally to leadership. Maintain tracking of technology rollouts and escalation of delays with franchisees and vendors. Monitor support tickets for escalated situations for the Restaurant Tech team. Ensure that support tickets and project/task requests are efficiently allocated to teammates who are best suited to complete. Establish role as point of contact for Restaurant Tech team.

Primary Accountabilities: 

  • Team Project Coordination: Monitor team resources and provide regular updates to Manager on roadblocks or needs.  Maintain and update project tasks for Restaurant Technology teams, based business needs.  Attend meetings to track and gather information from vendors and internal staff on initiatives impacting the Restaurant Tech team.  Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams to get needed information for Restaurant Tech initiatives.
  • Technology Rollout Project Coordination: Manage coordination of technology rollout project (registers, tablets, etc.).  Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on successful rollouts.  Provide escalations to appropriate teams to ensure parties are completing tasks in an appropriate timeline.
  • Continuous Refinement: Continuously review and update processes for improving project-related work, such as support, ticket and project request distribution, franchisee and vendor communication, SLA standards, and similar elements that will improve the overall franchisee customer service experience and corporate team efficiency measures over time.
  • Communication: Communicate with franchisees and vendors as needed to ensure that support tickets and project goals are being addressed in a timely manner. Communicate with corporate team members to effectively coordinate project resources and information.
  • Vendor Engagement: Participate in vendor conference calls to maintain ongoing project awareness and share insights and perspective as needed. Recap information and vendor calls and distribute information to project stakeholders as requested. Assist with communications between vendors.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Education and Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree in IS, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 1-3 years of Restaurant Technology, Project Coordinator, POS Administrator, or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to communicate SLA standards and response expectations to customers (DQ franchisees) 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills in a matrix-structured setting
  • Excellent time management, communication, and follow-through skills
  • Very strong experience with  Microsoft Office products: Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio

The US national hourly range for this non-exempt position is $27.65 - $32.49.  The base hourly range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location, and relevant education or experience

Work Environment

Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 2 collaboration days a week.  Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.  Positions will be identified as “remote eligible” when consideration will be given to candidates outside of drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
