Substitute Maintenance Worker en Sulphur Springs Union School District

Hours for this position are on call, as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Positions assigned to this class are skilled generalists in building maintenance and repair, but normally spend a significant portion of their working time performing journey-level work in one of the building trades. Journey level skill in at least one building trade is required for entrance into this class. Any combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities stated above, and the ability to perform the duties of the position. A typical qualifying entrance background is one year journey-level experience performing work in the designated trade(s) area; and completion of training and/or course work in theory and practice of the trade(s) or two years of experience as a Utility Worker in Sulphur Springs Union School District wherein the applicant has learned and performed skilled-level work in the designated trade(s) and demonstrated possession of the required knowledges and abilities listed above; and completion of college-level trades courses leading to a certificate of skill in a designated trade.

Hourly wage is $22.28
