Company Description:

At Oakville Hospital Foundation, we raise funds to support life-saving equipment, leading-edge technology, and innovative care at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. From cancer care to mental health to surgical innovation, our work helps ensure that patients in our community have access to world class healthcare, close to home.

We’re looking for a digitally savvy communicator to help bring that impact to life online. Someone who can create thoughtful, engaging content that connects with donors and reflects the heart of our mission. You’ll work across platforms – web, social, email, and more – to make sure our messages are clear, consistent, and inspiring.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Fundraising, this role is a great fit for someone who’s creative, collaborative, and confident navigating digital tools. You understand what good, donor-focused content looks and sounds like and you know how to use platforms like Canva and ChatGPT to support the process. You’ll be part of a supportive, agile team that values fresh thinking, strong execution, and stories that move people to give.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • With the Associate Director, Digital Fundraising, support the intake and workflow of marketing and communication projects and maintain and update monday.com project boards
  • Help build and manage content across OHF’s digital platforms including social media, website, and email
  • Design and update event microsites and landing pages using WordPress as well as campaign pages built in FundraiseUp
  • Use generative AI tools like ChatGPT to support brainstorming, drafting, repurposing, and fine-tuning digital content
  • Coordinate with internal Foundation team members to keep messaging aligned and on-brand across channels
  • Collaborate with the hospital’s communications team to align on messaging and identify shared content opportunities
  • Track and report on content performance, using insights to guide future strategy
  • Maintain a clear understanding of our voice, audience, and purpose and make sure our content reflects that
Qualifications:

What you bring:

  • You’re fluent in digital platforms, trends, and tools and love learning new ones
  • You have strong instincts for what makes content effective (on social, on a landing page, in an email)
  • You apply a thoughtful, critical lens to tools like ChatGPT and other generative AI – using them to enhance efficiency and elevate the quality of your work.
  • You’re confident using Canva and have experience with Adobe Creative Suite (or similar tools) to create visuals that work across channels
  • You’ve got a collaborative mindset – you’re comfortable taking initiative and equally happy to support
  • Experience editing short-form video (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) is a nice-to-have
  • You’ve completed a post-secondary program in communications, marketing, digital media or have equivalent hands-on experience

Even if you don’t meet every qualification listed, we encourage you to apply if you believe you have the skills, experience, and potential to succeed in this role.
