We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented part time Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role is 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule between the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. This exciting opportunity provides an opportunity to craft and manage our internal and external communications, ensuring our message is clear, consistent, and engaging. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a passion for storytelling and a talent for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain communication strategies that align with organizational goals
- Write, edit, and distribute press releases, newsletters, social media content, and other communication materials
- Coordinate with various departments to gather information and ensure messaging consistency
- Manage social media platforms, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics
- Organize and support internal communication initiatives, including town halls, employee updates, and events
- Maintain and update the organization’s website and digital content
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, partners, and stakeholders
- Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative communication approaches

Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in communications, PR, marketing and/or journalism.
· Prefer a minimum three - five years’ experience in communications, public relations, or marketing, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sector and experience with grant writing.
· Monitors and manage multiple projects in respect to content, budget and timelines, reporting and measuring outcomes and meeting project goals.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and families.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong working knowledge and experience with computer operating systems and web content.
· Prefer working knowledge with platforms, and content management systems, Adobe Creative and Microsoft office applications including PowerPoint.
· Fluent in in social media trends and content management with digital marketing tools.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and community engagement.
· Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse populations.
· Commitment to the mission and values of hospice and Home care service, with sensitivity to end-of-life issues and experiences.
· Car, driver's license and adequate insurance as outlined in the personnel policies is required.
