Position Overview: The Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) supports the inTransition program by managing, analyzing, and reporting on mental health and TBI-related program data. This role ensures that data is used effectively to evaluate program performance, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time/Exempt

Location: National Capital Region

Anticipated Start Date: 11/01/2025

Position Responsibilities:  

• Manage and analyze program data related to coaching services, outreach, and contact center operations.
• Develop dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support program evaluation efforts and collaborate with third-party evaluators.
• Maintain and update SOPs for data workflows and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with DHA and DoD standards.
• Present findings and recommendations to program leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mental health data analytics or a related field (e.g., healthcare data analytics).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year post-degree experience in:
  • Mental health data/database management.
  • Analysis and presentation of program data.
• Proficiency in:
  • Excel, Access, Stata, SPSS.
  • SQL and Tableau.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Experience working with the Veteran Health Administration.
