The Township of Union Public Schools is seeking dedicated, knowledgeable, and qualified Preschool Intervention and Referral Specialist
REQUIRED:
Must Hold an appropriate Standard New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate or New Jersey P-3 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate
Hold a valid NJ educational services certificate in one of the following areas:
Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) endorsement,
School Psychologist endorsement,
School Social Worker Endorsement,
Speech Language Specialist or a Speech Correctionist endorsement,
Behavioral Therapist Endorsement,
Special Education Teacher Endorsement,
Appropriate Standard New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate or New Jersey P-3 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificates
Minimum 3 years experience in Early Childhood education
Knowledge of and experience in Positive Behavior Support
Experience in developing, facilitating and presenting staff development
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community
SALARY RANGE:
$68,197 - $95,773 in accordance with the UTEA Agreement based on education and experience.
