The analyst will be responsible for validating that refactored applications meet all performance, functional, and compliance benchmarks prior to deployment into AWS.
This is an ideal role for someone with a strong background in QA methodologies who is passionate about ensuring mission-critical software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability in cloud environments.

Job Description:
The analyst will be responsible for validating that refactored applications meet all performance, functional, and compliance benchmarks prior to deployment into AWS.
This is an ideal role for someone with a strong background in QA methodologies who is passionate about ensuring mission-critical software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, including functional, regression, and integration tests.
- Validate application compliance with NOAA IT Security and Federal Data Strategy requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams and analysts to refine acceptance criteria and user stories.
- Contribute to the creation of quality reports, metrics dashboards, and compliance documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Understanding of testing strategies in cloud environments, including performance metrics.
- ISTQB Certified Tester or similar industry certification.
- Experience with AWS-native testing tools and cloud validation practices.
- Experience with automation scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and performance testing.
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and analytical mindset.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple testing cycles and prioritize tasks.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
