Salary: £42,900 - £53,100 per annum depending on experience.
Location: Homebased.
Contract: Permanent – 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role
In this permanent role as Quality Manager, you will strategically provide senior leadership, specialist support and quality assurance to Early Years Locality Managers and Service Managers across Spring and Oscars Childcare. You will be accountable for managing the ‘Quality Matters’ assurance framework including training, professional guidance, and support to Managers to drive high quality standards in line with regulatory requirements across Wales, England, and Scotland.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
Provide leadership, support and professional challenge to ensure that all services fulfil the responsibilities placed upon them through statutory regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Develop, lead, and deliver a UK wide quality strategy which ensures that early years and childcare provide high quality services in accordance with Ofsted/Care inspectorate (Wales & Scotland) requirements.
Manage the UK wide program of robust internal quality assurance.
Build effective relationships with managers and staff and provide leadership, support, and challenge through these relationships.
Ensure that safeguarding and welfare requirements are audited and monitored.
Responsible for the promotion of best practice and continuous improvement across all services.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in the Early Years across each nation.
Responsible for monitoring all complaints in relation to quality and supporting Service and Operations Managers as needed with investigation of complaints, taking further action if appropriate.
Let's talk about you as Quality Manager.
A degree in Early Years or Teaching.
A Leadership and management qualification or be willing to work towards this.
Early years professional with previous track record of delivering nurseries at Good / Outstanding level.
Local Authority advisor or inspector experience (desirable).
Ability to offer an independent voice.
Expert knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements (Ofsted / Care Inspectorate)
Current and up to date safeguarding training.
Excellent management and leadership skills.
Strong stakeholder management and be confident in communicating with all levels of management and senior leadership.
