Will you be the newest Safety Officer to join our team in Eastern Creek during an exciting chapter of growth?
Can you see yourself working closely with our Operations Teams and supporting the success of BINGO's health and safety objectives:
- Assisting in the management and maintenance of BINGO's Work Health & Safety (WHS) components
- Regularly conducting rigorous WHS audits and inspections
- Ensuring that appropriate risk identification, assessments and control measures are in place
- Reviewing WHS requirements as per BINGO's contractor management processes
- Maintaining risk management processes and critical control objectives
- Leading and supporting the incident management process and incident investigations
- Coordinating and facilitating WHS consultation and communication
- Assisting in the coordination of BINGO’s Return to Work and Injury Management programs
- Advise Operations Teams on best practise and regulatory requirements
Do you have:
- Relevant qualifications and/or prior experience in a similar role. A degree in WHS is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in, or strong knowledge of management systems including ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management systems or similar
- An understanding of the waste/recycling industry or similar high hazard industry
- Demonstrated experience in conducting safety audits
- Excellent communication and the ability to engage effectively at all levels with stakeholders
